INNOVIC is Victoria’s leading provider of services to innovators, inventors, entrepreneurs and small to medium enterprises. INNOVIC helps to turn new ideas into viable products and new businesses.
We assist over 1,800 innovators with new ideas each year, and our seminars are attended by over 1,100 people annually.
INNOVIC is the brand name of the Victorian Innovation Centre Limited. It is a not for profit organisation limited by guarantee. INNOVIC was established in 1986 by the former Swinburne and Chisholm Institutes of Technology as part of a joint State and Federal Government initiative.
INNOVIC provides two distinct services for early and later stage innovators.

VicStart is a Victorian Government initiative supporting commercialisation resources, capabilities and networks for Victoria's innovative science and technology businesses. VicStart will boost the technology transfer links between public sector research and the commercial sector, build the kinds of business skills needed for commercialisation and improve access to finance. |
